Nebraska Young Republicans elect new leadership

NORTH PLATTE, NE– The Nebraska Federation of Young Republicans (NFYR) elected new leadership this weekend at their convention, selecting Chris Chappelear of Omaha to serve as chairman.

“I am extremely honored and humbled to be elected chairman of the Nebraska Federation of Young Republicans today,” Chappelear said. “I look forward to building upon the tremendous work Spencer Head and all our previous state YR chairs have done over the years for our organization and Republican candidates in Nebraska!”

The newly elected NFYR officers include:

Chairman: Chris Chappelear, of Omaha
Vice-Chair: Sara Mach, of Lincoln
Secretary: Danielle Forsgren, of Omaha
Treasurer: Patrick Roy, of Omaha
National Committeewoman: Caitlin Holman, of Lincoln
National Committeeman: Benjamin Boll, of Omaha

Along with new state leadership, the NFYR also have new representatives in several national positions within the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF), after the YRNF held its national convention in Omaha last month. Spencer Head, immediate past Chairman of the NFYR, was elected YRNF Treasurer, National Committeewoman Caitlin Holman was appointed Co-Chair of the YRNF Engagement Committee, and Chairman Chris Chappelear was appointed Co-Chair of the YRNF Membership Committee.
