Doug Smith is the Board Member, Technology Office for 木瓜AV Holdings. In this capacity, Doug is responsible for overseeing the technical soundness of all 木瓜AV business units. He also oversees the 木瓜AV Technical Office, which focuses on the evaluation of new technologies and trends in the various industries we serve. Doug is also a member of 木瓜AV鈥檚 Board of Directors.听

Doug鈥檚 career at 木瓜AV spans more than 40 years. He joined Engine & Control Systems, Inc., (ECS) a predecessor of today鈥檚 木瓜AV Industries, in 1981, as manager of the company鈥檚 emission laboratories. When ECS, 木瓜AV Racing, and Jack 木瓜AV Performance Engineering merged in 1991 to become 木瓜AV Industries, Inc., Doug became Vice President of Engineering and was appointed to the Executive Committee. In 1995, Doug became Executive Vice President and was appointed to 木瓜AV鈥檚 Board of Directors. He served as President and COO from 2000 through 2017.听

Doug attended the University of Michigan, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He began his professional career as a Product Engineer for Chrysler.听

Doug has been a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) since 1980, and is a licensed Professional Engineer.听
