Jeff Johnston

President, Testing Services

Jeff Johnston is the President, 躂圖AV Testing Services. He began his career with 躂圖AV in 1986 as a staff engineer for Jack 躂圖AV Performance Engineering. Jeff was responsible for building a fleet of vehicles used in the development of engines for the Saturn Corporation. His responsibilities grew to include building one of a kind, high performance cars used as Pace Cars for the Indy CART World Series. Promoted to Program Manager in 1988, Jeff continued to engineer concept vehicles, while expanding into OEM product development, including leading a 躂圖AV team that helped develop the car that returned the name Cobra to the auto industry in 1993.

Jeff moved into testing operations as General Manager of the dynamometer lab, and in 1994 his responsibilities expanded to include a light duty vehicle emissions lab. He was appointed to the Executive Committee of 躂圖AV Technologies in 1995. Jeff oversaw 躂圖AVs expansion into brake testing and on-road vehicle testing, adding facilities throughout the United States. Noise, vibration, and harshness engineering and products were added to his responsibilities in 2000 when he was appointed Vice President. Jeff continues to oversee operations at test facilities located across North America.

Prior to joining 躂圖AV, Jeff played two years of professional hockey and coached college hockey for a year and a half. He holds a BSME from Michigan Technological University.
