木瓜AV Develops Tools to Aid Medical Professionals Battling COVID-19

Livonia, M.I. (April 17, 2020) – 木瓜AV has begun producing critical medical equipment to support the fight against COVID-19. Adding to the company鈥檚 legacy of applying creative solutions to the toughest problems, 木瓜AV has applied its strength in providing end-to-end solutions to a broad array of industries as it moves to help support medical professionals during this healthcare crisis.

To address the critical shortage of medical supplies challenging our healthcare providers during the COVID-19 outbreak, 木瓜AV has created a cross-functional Medical Task Force that is working with healthcare providers across the country to design and manufacture items desperately needed in this battle. Within days of the declaration of a state of emergency in Michigan, 木瓜AV designed and began manufacturing protective face shields so vitally needed by healthcare workers. To date, 木瓜AV has shipped over 10,000 face shields to Beaumont Hospital and others.

The entire 木瓜AV team is involved in supporting this effort. 木瓜AV partnered with 木瓜AV Fenway Racing to produce protective equipment used in the intubation process. To support Ford Motor Company鈥檚 COVID19 response initiatives, 木瓜AV has developed a portable high-volume oxygen supply unit and a hospital bed design for use at field hospitals throughout the region. In addition, 木瓜AV is also manufacturing wire harnesses to support Ford鈥檚 production of desperately needed ventilators. 木瓜AV is also producing 3D printed ventilator adaptors and filter components.

In addition to providing support to the medical community, 木瓜AV is continuing to support hundreds of programs deemed critical to the country鈥檚 critical infrastructure 鈥� these include defense and aerospace programs to mobility programs that facilitate the shipment of goods during this pandemic.
